Harts Faction Overview

The Harts Faction is one of ten factions within the Lorien Trust gameworld and remains the only that formed through player interaction. The Harts were formed from a rebellion within the Lions Faction and came of age under the leadership of Elspeth Pendragon.

Since then the Harts Faction have had many Protectors and Regents with the most recent being Theo D'Arby

The Harts of Albion Library

The Harts of Albion Library is a resource for members of the Harts Faction within the Lorien Trust (LT) LARP gameworld of Erdreja.

This resource is an OOC library spanning the full history of the Harts Faction from its foundation in civil war, the summoning of Excalibur and the binding of the seven swords of Wayland. Over the years the Faction has evolved with Erdreja and thus this collection represents a Library for all of Erdreja.

The death of Lord General Elias Karlennon - Maroc Harts Library

As battle commenced, my Uncle Lord General Corvus commanded the side for my husband, there was a great slaughter but my uncle was victorious. My dearest Elias was proven free from all guilt but as cheers were being given he was callously and cowardly struck from behind, while his bodyguards were distracted. His head was hewn from his shoulders and taken by his slayers. Thus on Monday 31 August 1092 Lord General Elias Karlennon, Keeper of Eaton, my beloved husband, was murdered and I was not there or even aware of it.

Summoning Excalibur - Sir Huw Library collection

The Sword Bearers formed a ring around Lady Karlennon, who held the sword Excalibur aloft, and one by one the essence of each Sword of Waylund was transmitted into Excalibur. Then, the Ritualists and their contributors started circling Lady Karlennon and intensifying the power, until with a great sound, and surge of power that threw all but the three Ladies to the ground. The essence of Excalibur rejoined the physical form of the sword.

A number of attacks were made and all were soundly rebuffed by the brave warriors of Albion, some visitors also proved more benign than initially suspected and eventually an air of restful sleep fell upon the encampment. In the small hours of the morning the Hiraeth paid hospitality to a traveller who had but lately journeyed in Cymrijia and gave us reports of the latest atrocities of the Outremer Morghun regime.

The Story Fae are one of two factions resident in Far Arcadia (the other are the much weaker Dream Fae). Recently the Story Fae have discovered mortals in Albion and have been aiding them (maybe playing with them is better wording) on quests to solve their problems. It is worth pointing out that it is heavily suspected that the Story Fae are also responsible for the problems that the quests solve. Recently during the use of Story magic to resolve the problem of sleeping cats, the Harts deviated from what was written and have apparently corrupted a story.
