Technology has moved on significantly and the new system is going to make the forum much easier for the admins to manage and also provide everyone with a much richer communication tool.
So what you need to know:
Its going to be one of those bold new beginnings (No data will be migrated as this forum had become far too complex and simply isn't going to migrate)
You will need to register a new account. This at present is automated but an admin will need to provide you with the appropriate group membership for the private forums.
sevenswords.co.uk/albion will remain unchanged for the portal and library and the forum link will change to point to the new forum
sevenswords.co.uk/albion/forum will eventually redirect to the new forum
http://albion.leynexus.net/ (this will be the new url for the forum for direct access– As its a subdomain you do not use 'www') (thanks to Nic for sorting this and a database)
There will be a short crossover period when both forums will be available so people have the opportunity to archive documents they may want to keep, etc. We will endeavour to put this forum live again on a different server for archive reference at a later date.
We are looking to make the switch over and adjust the links in the portal the weekend of 23rd - 24th January. This forum will still be accessible for a while after that date. Feel free to register on the new forum anytime before this date.
