The Gathering of 1095 AF
Sir Huw de Grognard
Lord Wolf in Norsca hosted the Gathering.
Elven Plague
Â
At the Opening Ceremony, Lios Alfar asked for assistance in destroying the corrupt machine that is perpetuating the Elven Plague. It was empowered by the newly returned Incantor magic created by Mordred, the embodiment of Chaos. They entreated all factions to send their High Incantors to join them in a ritual to determine the whereabouts of the Blue Gem. Part of the puzzle to destroy the infernal machine. The throng followed them to the Ritual Circle to watch the creation of the twelve scrolls. Each faction plus three other groups received a scroll. The Unicorns receive one addressed to the 'Falcons, the faction that was and shall be.' The Harts received the scroll for the Cobras.
Elias Alfar with the assistance of Captain Gerrick of the Watchers of Darkwood, Sir Falcon and Supascout of the Hunters were successful in finding the Blue Gem. This supposedly contained the essence of the last King of the Elves. At a ritual led by the Lios Alfar and assisted by all the faction High Incantors except Irizaphrys Naxos D'Fey destroyed the infernal machine.

Â
On Friday, Queen Cerridwen outlawed Sean MacCormac. He took refuge with a number of his clan in the Gryphons. An assassin killed him less than an hour later. The Bears did not mourn his death. He took military command until his death in the battle a few days later that had been foretold in a vision.
Vampire beguiles Dragons
Â
A vampire beguiled one of the Paladins of Danu on Saturday. His remains were suitably dealt with.
Arcane and the Black Box
Â
Midnight Sunday the trial of Lord Arcane occurred in the Dragon's Camp for dabbing in the black arts and causing the disappearance of Lady Katrina. After much show his contrition was accepted. Hence, Lord Arcane became acknowledged as the leader of the Cymrijan Dragons supported by Caradog and Silkin ap Palarran. The prose was quite poetic. At the Samhain Festival of 1095 AF, Silkin ap Palarran announced his retirement to his estates. By the time of the Open Grand Council, Lord Arcane was in sole charge of Cymrija.
Jaddvor Erland of the Lions
Â
On Friday, Jaddvor Erland's face etched with the Lions' cares and troubles, smiled at seeing the success of the their campaign to rid themselves of Prince Anree. The sight of RocheBrune camped with the Harts amused him. Corvus thought they were his bodyguard. This greatly displeases Corvus. Jaddvor Erland was not present on the battlefield because of an attack upon Bristol by Gryphon pirates.
Nuncle saves Lady Celyn
Â
While walking through market area on Saturday, Nuncle's agitation alerted Lady Celyn to the danger of shadowy figure swiftly approaching them from behind. At this she drew her sword and cuts the attacker down. He was a renowned mugger and murderer.
Duel of egos
Â
On Saturday, Anree and Caradog fought a duel. The Ritual Circle was sealed behind them to avoid external influence. The reason for the fight lost in the depths of their egos that are larger than the Gathering itself as Baron Lachlan so eloquently expressed. Just after the start Lord Satûn arrived with three wraiths and summoned them to another plane. The crowds broke up bewildered.
Anree murdered
Â
About 24 hours later, Lord Satûn returned Anree and Caradog ashen white with blood stains on their clothes. They acted as warriors that had gone through hell and come out the other side as friends. Anree murdered while surrounded by his loyal Slayers. There were no suspects. He had annoyed a number of powerful people. Probably they got rid of him before he did it to them.
Lions' war chest lost!!
Â
On Sunday, Lillith, a high elf, walked into the Lions' Command Tent and walked out with their war chest. Upon reaching the gate she said to the Guards, "Oh this belongs to Corvus," and gave it back to them.
Lord Hunter dead
Â
The venerable Lord General Hunter died of old age in Huntingdon. Greatly mourned by all that knew him. His successor is the accomplished Duke Calin of the Greenwood. An elf of great wisdom and charm when he chooses that only soiled his hands in human affairs since the death of Duke Desmond. His devoted companions are Talistar. Sir Falcon and Celindarithil. Lady Akijah Na'Shaar, an Ice Elf, who has a forbidding persona upon first meeting joined them later in the year as his Seneschal.
